Filtro notch 88-108 MHz

Il filtro notch per tenere a bada la banda FM 88-108 MHz è un accessorio ormai indispensabile sopratutto con l’attuale grossa diffusione di chiavette SDR e di ricevitori scanner. Fino ad ora ho utilizzato un vecchio filtro acquistato in fiera a Pordenone poi riprodotto in varie unità grazie ad una piccola dotazione strumentale per poter effettuarne la taratura. Ora desideravo provare qualcosa di più performante e sopratutto che avesse una minore attenuazione nelle bande adiacenti. Dopo alcune ricerche in rete ho deciso di provare quello costruito dalla JG HItechnology di IZ4OSG. Il filtro si presenta molto bene esteticamente, lungo 8,5 cm e del diametro poco superiore ai connettore bnc di cui è dotato per cui niente scatole o scatolette ma un bel tubetto serigrafato.

Le ottime caratteristiche sulla carta sono state confermate anche a livello pratico, l’attenuazione sulle frequenze adiacenti è molto minore rispetto al filtro utilizzato precedentemente mentre delle potenti stazioni FM non vi è traccia ne utilizzandolo con economiche chiavette e neppure con più costosi ricevitori professionali. Misure effettuate con il VNA non fanno altro che confermare il tutto.

Una nota di plauso al produttore molto disponibile e sopratutto veloce e preciso nella spedizione.

 

MRI special broadcast for the 70th anniversary of the New Zealand DX League

Marconi Radio International has planned two special broadcasts, from 1630 to 1930 UTC, as follows: on 7 April 2018 on 7720 kHz (100 Watts, USB Mode) and on 9 April 2018 on 6970 kHz (1000 watts, USB mode). The aim of those broadcasts is to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the New Zealand DX League with the hope that at least one of the frequencies will propagate to New Zealand. Marconi Radio International ha previsto per il mese di aprile due trasmissioni speciali che andranno in onda dalle 1630 alle 1930 UTC come segue: il 7 aprile 2018 su 7720 kHz (100 Watts, USB) e il 9 Aprile 2018 su 6970 kHz (1000 Watts, USB).
Lo scopo di queste trasmissioni è di celebrare il 70 anniversario della Lega DX Neozelandese (New Zealand DX League). La speranza è che la propagazione consenta ad almeno una delle due frequenze di raggiungere la Nuova Zelanda. So we are expected to be testing on 9290 kHz mostly (alternative fq. 9270 kHz) between 06-14 hours UTC HOX not on air whole time only short tests during these hours. So put your rx to follow us these times.

Playing happy oldtimers with different genres of best music.

Cari amici, siamo pronti per la nostra prima trasmissione del 2018. Due anni sono passati, in questo tempo la nostra piccola Radio non ha mai smesso di dare soddisfazioni. Tanti gli amici sparsi su tutta la terra che ci hanno ascoltato, scritto e messaggiato.

In questa nuova puntata abbiamo voluto inserire una novità, una bella intervista ad una persona veramente speciale. John Trudell, un musicista, poco noto in Europa che ha dedicato la sua vita a difendere i diritti dei Nativi Americani e di conseguenza a tutti noi, non dimenticando di proporre diversi brani della sua grande musica. Non potevamo non dedicargli uno spazio nella nostra programmazione.

Proseguiamo inoltre la collaborazione con il bravo “Artem’s World Music” che anche in questa puntata non mancherà di informarci sulla situazione delle stazioni Radio Cubane, con tante belle canzoni.

Dear friends, we are ready for our first broadcast of 2018. Two years have passed, at this time our little Radio has never stopped giving satisfactions. So many friends spread all over the world who have listened to us, written and sent.

In this new episode we including to insert a novelty, a nice interview with a very special person. John Trudell, a musician, little known in Europe who has dedicated his life to defend the rights of the Native Americans and consequently to all of us, not forgetting to propose his great music. We could do not dedicate a space in our programming.

We also continue the collaboration with the good “Artem’s World Music” that also in this episode will inform us about the situation of the Cuban Radio stations, with many beautiful songs.

MARCONI RADIO INTERNATIONAL SPECIAL 32nd ANNIVERSARY BROADCAST- QSL CARDS FOR ALL BUT ONLY TODAY 4TH JANUARY 2018

Marconi Radio International went for the first time on air on 4th January 1986 and to celebrate this event has planned a special 32nd anniversary broadcast, which consists of some vintage shows.

We’ll be on the air today, 4 January 2018 as follows: 13.00 to 15.00 UTC and 16.00 to 18.00 UTC on 7720 kHz (USB Mode).

This special broadcast offers the opportunity to receive our QSL card. All you have to do is to send a correct reception report with attached an audio file of our broadcast.

Only today, our printed QSL card will be sent to anyone except for those who have already received one. Be advised that reports about the reception of MRI via websdr receivers, or not accompanied by an audio file, will instead be verified only with e-QSL.
